Four resorts in Canada, read by the same rule as every other house on this site: what the building holds for its guests, and in which part of it. The gaming floor is not described here and not judged here, and the handling of money and chips is not a subject we go into at all. What follows is coats, scenery, boats and clubs.
Casinos are for adults only. In Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec; elsewhere it depends on where you are.

Coats and bags are taken at the entrance to the old Expo pavilions
What is kept
Outer clothing is the main thing here, and Montréal gives it plenty to hold: coats, hats, scarves and the bags people bring for an evening out. Luggage is taken in the same part of the building by visitors who arrive before their room is ready.
Where it is kept
The cloakroom stands just inside the entrance on Île Notre-Dame, in the Expo pavilions that were built for the world exhibition and later turned to this use. Restaurants and several levels of public rooms lie beyond it, together with a hall for live programmes, so people set things down before they go in.
Who gets it out
The desk staff take things in and hand them back, and that is the extent of it for a guest. The room is on the way in and on the way out, so nobody has to go looking for it in the middle of an evening.

Fallsview Casino Resort

The store
Scenery and stage equipment for the theatre are held in the service part of the building
What is kept
Sets, backdrops, lighting bars and the cases that carry a touring show belong to this side of the resort. Instruments and wardrobe arrive with the acts and leave with them. None of it is a guest's property, and none of it appears in the public rooms.
Where it is kept
The store sits behind the theatre, on the service side of the block that also holds restaurants and a spa, above the gorge at Niagara Falls. Trucks reach it from the back of the building, so the working traffic of a show never crosses the front of the house.
Who gets it out
Stagehands and the resort's technical crew handle all of it, and a visiting company works alongside them. Guests never enter, and there is nothing in the room that belongs to them. What reaches the audience is the finished evening in the theatre.

Ask about the theatre programme when you book, because the quiet side of the resort follows it.

River Rock Casino Resort

The store
Boats and their equipment are kept at the resort's own marina on the river
What is kept
Moorings take the larger part of this store, and the sheds beside them hold lines, fenders and the gear that goes with a berth. Small craft come out of the water and sit ashore between trips. The river is working water, and the marina is arranged for that.
Where it is kept
The marina lies at the edge of the property in Richmond, on the arm of the Fraser that runs past it, a short distance from the concert hall, the restaurants and the spa. Everything to do with boats stays on that side and never comes indoors.
Who gets it out
Marina staff look after the berths and the shore gear, while anyone arriving by water handles their own boat. The two sides meet at the dock and not inside the hotel, which keeps the working part of the property separate from the rest.
Put it in the booking
Raise a marina arrival with the resort in advance, since the water side is run apart from the front desk.

Casino Rama Resort

The store
Golf clubs and bags have a building of their own, away from the main resort
What is kept
Clubs, bags, trolleys and shoes are held at the golf side rather than carried through the resort. Balls and practice equipment sit with them. The course is part of a property that stands on the lands of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation in Ontario.
Where it is kept
The store belongs to the golf building, set apart from the block that holds the concert hall, the kitchens and the spa. Rama is open country, and the walk between the two parts of the resort is done outdoors, which is why the clubs stay where they are used.
Who gets it out
The golf staff bring bags out to the first tee and take them back afterwards, so a guest carries very little across the property. Players who bring their own clubs leave them on the golf side rather than taking them to a room.

Say you are bringing clubs when you book, because the golf side runs on its own arrangements.
